DEKUMA RV SERIES
RUBBER INJECTION MOLDING MACHINES
Dekuma RV Series rubber injection molding machines provide high-precision, high-tonnage, and long-life rubber injection solutions developed for automotive, energy, infrastructure, and general industrial applications. Combining German engineering expertise with advanced manufacturing capabilities, Dekuma has become a globally preferred brand with its RV series, particularly in the production of automotive rubber parts, sealing elements, vibration dampers, gaskets, insulators, and technical rubber components.
RV series machines ensure high quality and excellent repeatability in mass production through their vertical injection structure, precise plasticizing and injection control, highly rigid clamping units, and advanced automation integration.
GENERAL DESIGN STRUCTURE OF RV SERIES MACHINES
Dekuma RV series machines are designed according to the vertical clamping – vertical injection principle. This structure allows the rubber material to flow more homogeneously under gravity and significantly improves filling quality, especially in molds with complex geometries.
Key design features include:
• High-rigidity, stress-relieved steel machine frame
• Servo-controlled hydraulic system
• High-precision plasticizing unit
• Accurate clamping and platen parallelism control
• Modular mold clamping structure
• Open architecture suitable for automation and robot integration
Thanks to this design, RV series machines deliver stable performance even in long-cycle, high-pressure rubber processing applications.
RUBBER INJECTION TECHNOLOGY AND OPERATING PRINCIPLE
In RV series rubber injection molding machines, the rubber compound is first prepared in the plasticizing unit under controlled conditions. The screw and barrel design is optimized to prevent rubber scorching or premature vulcanization. The plasticized material is then injected into the mold under high pressure.
The process consists of the following stages:
• Controlled plasticization of rubber
• Stable flow with low shear stress
• High-pressure injection
• Precise mold clamping and pressure holding
• Vulcanization and part demolding
This system ensures high part quality, especially when processing rubber types such as NR, SBR, EPDM, NBR, HNBR, and similar compounds.
RV SERIES MODEL RANGE AND CLAMPING FORCE OPTIONS
The Dekuma RV series is available in a wide clamping force range to meet different production requirements.
Typical clamping force options include:
• 250 tons
• 300 tons
