DEKUMA LSR SERIES
LIQUID SILICONE RUBBER (LSR) INJECTION MOLDING MACHINES

Dekuma Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) injection molding machines deliver advanced technological solutions for manufacturing processes that require high precision, strict hygiene standards, and repeatable part quality. The LSR series enables the controlled and stable processing of liquid silicone rubber in automotive, medical, electrical-electronic, home appliance, and general industrial applications.

Dekuma's LSR machines form an ideal platform for high-volume, low-tolerance production thanks to their specially designed two-component dosing systems, precise injection control, high-rigidity press structure, and automation-ready open architecture.

LSR INJECTION TECHNOLOGY AND OPERATING PRINCIPLE

In the Liquid Silicone Rubber injection process, the silicone material is fed into the system as two separate components, A and B. These components are homogeneously mixed in precisely defined ratios within a high-accuracy dosing and mixing unit. The mixture is kept in a low-temperature, flowable state and transferred to the injection unit, where it is injected into the mold cavity.

The main steps of the LSR injection process are:

• Precise dosing of A and B components
• Homogeneous mixing
• Stable flow at low temperature
• High-precision injection
• Rapid vulcanization inside a heated mold
• Automatic part demolding

Thanks to this process, the silicone material cures quickly inside the mold, resulting in excellent surface quality and dimensional stability.

STRUCTURAL DESIGN OF DEKUMA LSR MACHINES

Dekuma LSR injection molding machines are specially engineered to meet the sensitive processing requirements of liquid silicone rubber.
