Plastic Raw Material Containers

Mobile, Stationary, and Modular Storage Solutions for Plastic Granules and Crushed Materials

In plastic production facilities, storing raw materials in a clean, organized manner and close to production machinery is crucial for process safety, material traceability, and production continuity. Incorrect raw material use, granule contamination, or failure to deliver materials to production machinery on time can lead to serious quality problems and unplanned downtime.

Plastic raw material containers are designed for the storage, transportation, mixing, and transfer of plastic granules, masterbatch, additives, regranules, and crushed materials to central raw material feeding systems.

The product family, with volume options ranging from approximately 60 to 4,800 liters, covers a wide range of applications, from holding small quantities of raw materials next to machinery to large-volume daily storage and central intermediate hoppers.

Depending on the intended use, the following solutions can be offered:

* Wheeled raw material containers
* Bag unloading hoppers
* Daily raw material storage tanks
* Centralized system intermediate hoppers
* Masterbatch containers

* Rotary valve top buffer hoppers
* Mobile mixing containers
* Stackable containers
* Application-specific storage hoppers

Clean and Safe Storage of Plastic Raw Materials

Container systems help protect plastic raw materials from dust, dirt, and foreign matter that may originate from the external environment. Models where the parts in contact with the product are made of stainless steel provide an advantage in production environments where color and material changes are frequent, thanks to their easy-to-clean surfaces.

Thanks to their modular product structure, containers can be configured specifically for the application with suction boxes, suction pipes, level sensors, lid locking systems, adapter plates, filter bags, wheels, and forklift transport skids.

Container Models

CR.A1 Wheeled Plastic Granule Containers

The CR.A1 series is specifically designed for storing granules, discharged from standard 25 kg bags, alongside machinery in plastic injection molding plants.

The product range includes 60, 120, and 240-liter capacity options:

* 60-liter container: approximately 1 bag

* 120-liter container: approximately 3 bags

* 240-liter container: approximately 6 bags

Thanks to its compact and mobile design, raw materials can be easily transported to different machines in the production area. Four lockable swivel wheels help securely fix the container during use.

CR.A1 Series Features

* Stainless steel body
* 60, 120 and 240 liter volume options
* Product suction from the bottom of the hopper
* Use with single or double-walled suction tubes
* Transparent lid allows visibility of material level and color
* Easy-to-clean design
* Four braked swivel wheels
* Lid attachable to the side of the container
* Optional material card holder
* Stainless steel or transparent folding lid options
* Optional protective grille

The transparent lid allows the operator to quickly check the quantity and color of the material inside the container. This feature helps reduce the risk of using the wrong material in injection molding plants where different colors and resins are used.

CR.B1, CR.B2 and CR.B3 Wheeled Containers

CR.B series wheeled containers are designed for plastics processing applications requiring higher capacity and more accessory options.

The modular system, available in 120, 215, 300, 400, and 500-liter volume options, can be adapted to many raw material storage applications in plastic injection, extrusion, and compounding plants.

The containers are suitable for emptying standard 25 kg bags. However, they can also be automatically filled using a vacuum loader mounted on the top cover. Application-specific adapter plates can be used to connect different brands of vacuum loaders to the system.

CR.B1 Series

CR.B1 is a low-chassis standard wheeled container solution. It allows the granules to be transferred from the suction box under the container to a vacuum conveying line.

CR.B2 Series

CR.B2 models have a higher ground clearance. This structure allows the material to be discharged by free flow into another hopper under the container or to use multiple suction points.

Four separate suction points can be created by connecting two suction boxes one below the other to the outlet. This allows raw materials to be sent from a single container to multiple production machines.

CR.B3 Series

The CR.B3 series is designed for production facilities where incorrect raw material filling or unintentional mixing of materials must be prevented.

Standard equipment includes:

* Electromechanical lid lock
* Integrated minimum level sensor
* Red warning light
* Pre-wired 10-pin connector
