Wide mouth container vacuum control

Vacuum panels or ribs are generally not used on wide mouth containers. Even though increased wall thickness can prevent vacuum deformation, the increased container weight means increased material costs.
Aoki's Direct Heatcon technology enables localization of thicker walls at the center of the container body, which prevents this deformation. This means weight savings.

Vacuum control is used for containers that undergo deformation due to low pressure as a result of temperature changes in their contents or in the storage environment. Reduced pressure deformation caused by temperature change also includes vessels subject to high temperature filling.

Vacuum control design in wide mouth containers is reinforcement with horizontal ribs to suppress deformation. Aoki's Direct Heatcon technology allows to strengthen walls by thickening them only in necessary sections. Another method is to equip the container with vacuum suction panels that do not affect the appearance quality.

The main factors causing vacuum deformation, temperature change in the content or storage medium, and differences in altitude can result in reduced compressive deformation. Reduced pressure deformation caused by temperature change also includes vessels subject to high temperature filling.
