PVB / SGP Film Extrusion Line
High-Performance Laminated Glass Interlayer Film Production Technology
The PVB / SGP Film Extrusion Line is a fully integrated extrusion system developed for the production of high-quality PVB and SGP interlayer films used in automotive, architectural, and safety glass applications. Covering the entire process from raw material feeding to film winding, this system delivers high production efficiency, consistent quality, and energy savings.
Thanks to advanced twin-screw extruder technology, additives are distributed homogeneously, film thickness is precisely controlled, and products with excellent optical properties are achieved. The system is designed for continuous, stable, and industrial-scale production.
What Are PVB and SGP Films?
PVB (Polyvinyl Butyral) film is a specialized polymer interlayer used in laminated glass production, offering high transparency, excellent adhesion to glass, and superior impact resistance. It is widely preferred in automotive windshields and architectural safety glass applications.
SGP film, compared to PVB, provides significantly higher mechanical strength, rigidity, and shear resistance. These properties make it ideal for high-security façade glass, large-span architectural structures, and advanced engineering solutions.
