Powerjet BJ Series – Standard Injection Molding Machines

The Powerjet BJ Series is positioned within the company’s portfolio as a range of standard hydraulic injection molding machines and stands out with its energy efficiency, high production stability, and wide clamping force range. This series is particularly suitable for various production fields such as food and beverage packaging, home appliance components, electrical parts, and automotive components. The BJ Series can be configured with different drive systems, including servo motor or variable pump options.

General Technical Features
Clamping Force

BJ Series machines are available with clamping forces ranging from 50 to 1380 tons. This range meets the requirements of both small to medium-sized part production and high-tonnage molding needs for large components.

System and Drive Types

The basic structure is a hydraulic system.

Servo motor system (S6): Significantly reduces energy consumption, especially during cooling and holding pressure phases, providing substantial power savings.

Variable pump system (V6): Thanks to computer-controlled variable pump technology, energy efficiency is increased by approximately 25–50%.

Models and Technical Parameters
Low and Medium Tonnage Models (50–200 Tons)

Machines in this group are designed for the production of low to medium tonnage plastic parts. Plasticizing capacity in these models ranges from 10 to 26 g/s, while shot weights cover the range of 54 to 145 g. Pump motor power increases from 7.5 kW up to 20.4 kW.

Medium-High Tonnage Models (288–560 Tons)

This segment meets performance demands for larger molding applications. These machines are suitable for medium to high-scale production with plasticizing capacities between 39 and 94 g/s and large shot volumes.

High Tonnage Models (680–1380 Tons)

Designed for heavy-duty part production and large molds, these machines can exceed shot volumes of 2500 cm³, enabling the production of large-sized plastic components. Plasticizing capacity varies over a wide range from 69 to 175 g/s.

Performance and Production Efficiency

Energy Efficiency

In BJ Series machines, the servo-driven S6 system provides significant electrical energy savings during the plastic production process, particularly in holding pressure and cooling stages. This advantage helps reduce operating costs, especially in large-scale production environments.

Control and Operation

The advanced control system offers fast programming and precise process control through a user-friendly interface.

The clamping system operates stably with high repeatability and effective mold protection.

The injection system, with separating and mixing screw designs, delivers reliable performance across a wide range of plastic materials.

The automatic lubrication system supplies oil to critical friction points automatically, reducing maintenance time and extending machine service life.

Application Areas

Powerjet BJ Series injection molding machines are widely used in the production of packaging parts and plastic caps, home and kitchen appliances, electrical and electronic components, automotive interior and exterior parts, and various consumer product components.
