General Purpose Mold Release and Sliding Agents

During the molding of plastics, rubber, polyurethane and other industrial materials, adhesion between the molded component and the mold surface can cause part damage, longer cycle times and more frequent mold cleaning. The correct mold release agent helps the component separate from the mold in a controlled manner while supporting consistent production and maintaining surface quality.

ACCA general-purpose mold release and sliding agents are developed to provide release, lubrication, sliding and surface-protection functions. In addition to plastic and rubber molding, the range includes products suitable for polyurethane processing, rotational molding, conveyor systems, machine guides, sliding surfaces and various industrial applications.

Depending on the application, products are available in aerosol, liquid and concentrated forms. Silicone-based, modified-silicone and water-based alternatives allow the product to be selected according to the material, mold temperature, application method and required surface characteristics.

Principal benefits

* Facilitates easier removal of molded components.
* Reduces adhesion and friction between the component and mold surface.
* Helps reduce the risk of surface damage and deformation.
* Provides lubricating and sliding properties for molds and moving surfaces.
* Contributes to reduced production interruptions and mold-cleaning requirements.
* Supports consistent production through controlled application.
* Offers aerosol and liquid alternatives for different application methods.
* Provides product options for plastics, rubber and polyurethane.

Application areas

ACCA general-purpose mold release and sliding agents can be used in applications including:

* Plastic injection molding
* Rubber and elastomer molding
* Polyurethane component production
* Rotational molding
* Demolding of thermoplastic components
* Lubrication of mold and machine surfaces
* Conveyor belts and guide surfaces

A silicone-based aerosol providing effective lubrication, sliding, anti-adhesive and mold-release properties. It is suitable for plastic and rubber molding applications, conveyors and sliding surfaces.

LUBROSIL HD 55 Aerosol

Its modified-silicone formulation creates a durable and consistent film on the treated surface. It is suitable for thermoplastic, polyurethane and rubber molding processes and, depending on operating conditions, may provide release performance over multiple molding cycles.

SILICON HD 55 EXTRA

A concentrated silicone-based product with a high active-content formulation. It is developed for industrial applications requiring strong lubrication, sliding and anti-adhesive performance.

Selecting the correct product

The selection of a mold release agent should consider not only the material being molded but also the mold temperature, surface geometry, application frequency, cycle time and any subsequent painting, printing or bonding operations.

Polmak Plastik supports customers in evaluating their process conditions, selecting the appropriate ACCA product and planning application trials.
