Automotive

Caps & Closures
Production of plastic caps requires complex production systems with fast running machines, multiple cavity molds, hot runners, temperature controllers and material handling systems. The PlantMaster system helps in managing and monitoring these resources in the most optimal way. The "cavity tracking" software module is designed to quickly identify "problem cavities" producing excessive scrap products.

Packaging
With the packaging industry being one of the largest consumers of plastics, it is obvious that many PlantMaster customers can be found in this segment of the plastics industry. Especially for the production of "thin wall" plastic containers, running at the right cycle time is extremely important. The PlantMaster real time monitoring application alerts the supervisors of the smallest deviation in cycle time, making sure that no production capacity is lost and production cost does not exceed the standard value.
Special planning software is available for producers of flexible packaging, supporting "multi-stage production" including extrusions, laminating, printing, winding and slitting.
Pipes & Fittings
The BMS PlantMaster system is widely used in the production of pipes and fittings. PlantMaster includes some very interesting features for planning and monitoring extrusion processes, such as the possibility for random mix of different products on the same line, interface with in line wall thickness monitoring equipment and gravimetric dosing systems.
Technical
The production of technical parts for various industries requires stringent quality and process control. With the PlantMaster system, BMS customers can interface with the control unit of the machines and retrieve all relevant process parameters needed to monitor the process. The QMaster SPC/SQC module manages inspection plans for all products, specifying all quality parameters to be checked as well as the inspection strategy.
